EKG Technician

EKG Technicians are professionals in healthcare who administer tests to determine the cardiovascular
health of patients. This course is designed to prepare students to conduct 10 electrocardiographs (EKGs)
of the heart. Students learn the basic anatomy and physiology of the heart and how to interpret cardiac
arrhythmias in a clinical setting. Completion of the course enables students to sit for National
Certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), becoming a certified EKG Technician
(CET).
