Our Phlebotomy Technician training program is designed to provide students with the skill set that they
will need to pursue a career as an entry-level phlebotomist. Students must complete 30 venipuncture & amp;
10 capillary sticks “live” before sitting for national certification. Students will be able to obtain the
required venipuncture and sticks per classmates and volunteers. Students will have an unpaid
externship at a hospital or laboratory. Students will sit for national certification through the National
Health-Career Association (NHA) at CHTC. With a CPT certification, you will have the credentials you
need to set yourself apart from other applicants as you embark on a rewarding healthcare career.
Graduates are qualified to work in laboratories, hospitals, physician offices, and clinics.
